Когда счастье безвозвратно потеряно и оставило после себя лишь слабый отблеск, приходит время отчаяния и необдуманных поступков.
Будущий повар Лиза (Анна Дианова) проходит практику в санатории. Здесь она встречает богатого молодого человека Матвея (Илья Коробко). Лиза впервые полюбила и совершенно потеряла голову! Отношения между влюбленными развиваются бурно, пока Лиза не узнает, что у Матвея… есть невеста. Под давлением семьи Матвею приходится вернуться домой, и Лиза остается с разбитым сердцем. Все, что у нее есть на память о Матвее, – это подаренный им серебряный кулон и тайна, которой они связаны: Лиза ждет ребенка.
Влюбленный в Лизу сосед Григорий (Артур Сопельник) предлагает ей пожениться, чтобы не быть матерью-одиночкой. Лиза соглашается, но очень скоро начинает жалеть о своем решении.
