Российский боец ММА Сергей Харитонов победил британского боксера Дэнни Уильямса в главном поединке вечера бокса в Химках.Бой прошел по правилам бокса в тяжелом весе, в категории свыше 90,72 кг. Поединок завершился во втором раунде техническим нокаутом.
40-летний Харитонов — один из самых опытных бойцов ММА в России. За 20 лет в смешанных единоборствах он дрался в Pride и Strikeforce, сейчас у бойца действующий контракт с Bellator. Этот бой стал дебютным для Харитонова, удачно выступавшего на любительском уровне, в профессиональном боксе.
47-летний Уильямс дебютировал в профессиональном боксе в 1995 году. У него 83 боя, 54 победы (41 — нокаутом) и 28 поражений, еще один поединок был признан несостоявшимся. Самый значимый из боев британца — 30 июня 2004 года против бывшего абсолютного чемпиона мира Майка Тайсона, которого он нокаутировал в четвертом раунде.
