2. Bölüm Özet:
Nare kızı için çıktığı uçurumdan yine kızı için iner. İnerken, nişan yüzükleri olan deniz kabuğunu ve senelerdir sakladığı kırmızı kuşağı Sancar’ın ayaklarının dibine bırakır. Nare’nin destanla da, Sancar’la da işi bitmiştir.
Öldürdüğünü sandığı adamın yaşadığını ve hapse girmeyeceğini öğrenen Nare’nin artık tek amacı vardır. Kızını Sancar’dan geri alacak ve Sefirin kızıyla Yarıcının oğluna cehennem olan bu toprakları, kızına memleket yapacaktır. Ama elbette Sancar kızını vermez, Nare meleğini göremez bile. Artık ne destan vardır ne yalan; yaman bir savaştır davulları vurulan. Ne var ki, onlara kör noktalarından saldıracaktır asıl düşman.
