TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Presiden Prabowo Subianto akan melantik Gubenur dan Wakil Gubenur Papua definitif di Istana Negara, Jakarta pada Rabu (8/10/2025) sore ini.

Mereka yang akan dilantik yakni Mathius D Fakhiri dan Aryoko Rumaropen.

Pasangan tersebut ditetapkan sebagai pasangan Gubenur dan Wakil Gubenur Papua terpilih setelah dinyatakan menang pada Pemungutan Suara Ulang (PSU).

Pantauan Tribunnews.com, pasangan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur tersebut tiba di Istana sekitar pukul 13.45 WIB. Keduanya mengenakan PDU berwarna putih.

Tiba di Istana melalui pintu pilar Jalan Veteran Jakarta Pusat, keduanya tidak banyak berkomentar.

Mathius hanya mengatakan bahwa Papua Hebat.

"Papua Hebat. Papua Hebat," katanya.

Sejumlah perangkat Pemerintah Provinsi Papua tampak berdatangan ke Istana.

Mereka ada yang menunggu di Depan Gedung Kementerian Sekretariat Negara dan ada juga yang berada di dalam komplek Istana.

Sebelumnya Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Papua menetapkan Matius Fakiri dan Aryoko sebagai Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua periode 2025-2030 setelah mengantongi 259.817 suara atau 50,4 persen dari total suara sah dalam PSU Pilkada Papua.

Selama tiga tahun terakhir Provinsi Papua dipimpin oleh tiga Pj Gubernur.

Diantaranya Ridwan Rumasukun, Ramses Limbong hingga sekarang ini Agus Fatoni.
