ታህሳስ 8/2018አሁን ላይ ተደራራቢ ታክሶች በኢትዮጵያ እየበዙ መሆናቸውን የተለያዩ ሰዎች ሲናገሩ ይሰማል።
የተጨማሪ እሴት ታክስ ፤ የትርፍ ታክስ ፤ ኤክሳይዝ ታክስ ወዘተ እያለ የሚከለፈው እጅግ በዝቷል ይላሉ።
ከተወሰነ ጊዜ ወዲህ ደግሞ መንግስታዊ አገልግሎቶችን ለማግኘት የሚጠየቀው ክፍያ እንዲሁ መጨመሩን ይጠቅሳሉ።
እነዚህ ታክስ እና ታክስ ያልሆኑ ክፍያዎች በዜጎች ላይ ጫና እያሳደሩ መሆናቸውን እነዚሁ ሰዎች ያነሳሉ።
መንግስት በበኩሉ በኢትዮጵያ የሚሰበሰበው ታክስ ከጎረቤት ሀገራት አንጻር እንኳ ዝቅተኛ እንደሆነ በመጥቀስ የታክስ መሰረቱን ማስፋት ግድ እንደሆነ ይናገራል።
በበቂ መጠን ከዜጎች ታክስ ካልሰበሰበ የልማት ስራችዎችን መስራት እንደሚያስቸግረውም ያክላል።
በማህበረሰብ ደህንነት እና ጤና ላይ የሚሰሩት ዶክተር ኤርሲዶ ለንደቦ ግን ለአንድ ሀገር ልማት የሚያመጣው አነስተኛ ታክስ ከዜጎች የሚሰበስብ ስርአት ነው ይላሉ።

በኢትዮጵያ 80 በመቶ ታክስ የሚሰበሰበው 20 በመቶ ከሚሆኑ የሀገሪቱ ትላልቅ ድርጅቶች ነው የሚሉት ዶክተር ኤርሲዶ ፤ 20 በመቶ የሚሆኑትን ትናንሽ ድርጅቶች መንግስት ሙሉ ለሙሉ ከታክስ ነጻ ቢያደርጋቸው እንኳን የጎላ ተፅዕኖ እንደማይኖረው ተናግረዋል።
ከጥቅል ሀገራዊ ምርት አኳያ በቂ ታክስ እየተሰበሰበ አይደለም ፤ ገንዘቡ ደግሞ የግድ ለልማት ስራዎች ያስፈልጋል በሚለው የመንግስት ሃሳብ ላይ አስተያየታቸውን የጠየቅናቸው ዶክተር ኤርሲዶ ተከታዩን መልሰዋል።
