Draw Anything Using Familiar Shapes
Bryce Kho explains how he researches objects he doesn’t know how to draw, especially without a great reference. He uses a mnemonic approach, comparing unfamiliar parts to familiar shapes to make them easier to understand and remember. For example, when drawing a bike, he might see the front as a helmet with horns or the body as human anatomy parts. This method helps him draw from imagination by building foundational knowledge through relatable analogies.Did you enjoy this lesson? Want to learn more from Bryce?
