PLO | Chi tiết bản án của bà Trương Mỹ Lan cùng các đồng phạm tại Ngân hàng SCB.Khi Ngân hàng TMCP Sài Gòn (SCB) đối mặt với áp lực nợ xấu khổng lồ và sự giám sát chặt chẽ từ các cơ quan quản lý, Trương Mỹ Lan đã lên kế hoạch thâu tóm, chi phối và điều hành toàn bộ hoạt động của SCB để có nguồn vốn lớn phục vụ cho các dự án bất động sản. Bà Lan đã tuyển chọn và đưa các cá nhân thân tín, có trình độ trong lĩnh vực tài chính, ngân hàng vào các vị trí lãnh đạo chủ chốt tại SCB như Hội đồng quản trị, Ban Tổng giám đốc, Giám đốc các chi nhánh lớn, và Trưởng Ban kiểm soát để phục vụ mục đích rút tiền từ SCB. Trương Mỹ Lan là chủ mưu, cầm đầu trong đại án Vạn Thịnh Phát cả giai đoạn 1 và giai đoạn 2. Đến thời điểm hiện tại, cơ quan điều tra (Bộ Công an) cho biết nếu giai đoạn 1 bà Lan thể hiện không hợp tác không ăn năn, hối cải thì sang giai đoạn 2 bà Trương Mỹ Lan đã có sự thay đổi về nhận thức.
