En diálogo con Exitosa, el abogado penalista Luis Gutiérrez Oliva indicó que el Club Alianza Lima no tiene responsabilidad legal por lo ocurrido en el banderazo previo al clásico, donde un hincha terminó perdiendo la vida y más de 40 personas resultaron heridas. Explicó que la obligación penal recaerá en "personas naturales concretas", como el encargado de la seguridad del estadio Matute.
