GEISELNAHME RHEINLAND-PFALZ: Drama in der Bank – Polizei gibt Pressestatement | Großeinsatz SinzigGroßeinsatz im rheinland-pfälzischen Sinzig: Mehrere Täter haben nach Polizeiangaben Geiseln in einer Volksbank genommen. Unter den Geiseln soll sich auch der Fahrer eines Geldtransporters befinden. Die Polizei hat das Gebiet weiträumig abgesperrt und zahlreiche Einsatzkräfte sind vor Ort. Für Anwohner innerhalb des Einsatzbereichs gilt die Aufforderung, Häuser und Wohnungen nicht zu verlassen. Über die Zahl der Geiseln oder Hintergründe der Tat machen die Ermittler aus taktischen Gründen bislang keine näheren Angaben. Die Lage entwickelt sich dynamisch, die Geiselnahme dauert nach aktuellem Stand an.
