China – Ein Hund mit 1,5 Millionen Followern wurde von einer Farm in China entführt und an ein Spezialitätenrestaurant verkauft. Dort wurde Border Collie Chutou (8) noch am selben Tag geschlachtet und gegessen. Sein Besitzer, der bekannte Reiseblogger Guo aus der Provinz Henan, kämpft jetzt verzweifelt um Gerechtigkeit. Acht Jahre lang begleitete der Hund sein Herrchen auf Reisen durch ganz China. Millionen User verfolgten das Duo in den sozialen Medien. Doch im Mai reiste Guo alleine durch Georgien. Chutou blieb auf der Farm seiner Eltern. Dort geschah das Unfassbare: Zwei Männer mit einem Elektroroller, packten ihn und verschwanden, berichtet die „South China Morning Post“. Dann erfuhr Guo die schreckliche Wahrheit: Die Diebe hatten seinen Liebling für umgerechnet 23 Euro an ein auf Gerichte aus Hundefleisch spezialisiertes Restaurant verkauft. Das hatte ihn längst seinen Gästen serviert.
