Penahanan itu dibenarkan kuasa hukum Briptu Rizka, Rossi saat dihubungi Tribun Lombok, Senin (22/9/2025).
Rossi belum memastikan upaya hukum yang akan dilakukan terhadap kliennya, termasuk untuk mengajukan penangguhan penahanan.
Sementara itu Kabid Humas Polda NTB Kombes Pol Mohammad Kholid, irit bicara saat dikonfirmasi terkait penahanan Briptu Rizka dalam kasus kematian suaminya Brigadir Esco Fasca Rely.
Kholid mengungkapkan meskipun sudah menetapkan Briptu Rizka sebagai tersangka, ia menegaskan pihak kepolisian masih juga mendalami tersangka lain yang membantu pembunuhan tersebut.
Kholid mengungkapkan, saat ini penyidik terus mendalami kasus kematian janggal anggota Polsek Sekotong ini.
Polisi juga sudah memeriksa puluhan saksi dalam kasus ini.
Sebagai informasi Brigadir Esco ditemukan tewas di kebun belakang rumahnya di Dusun Nyur Lembang, Kecamatan Lembar dengan kondisi leher terikat dan wajah menghitam.
Awalnya ia diduga bunuh diri, namun polisi mengungkap bahwa ayah dua anak tersebut tewas karena dibunuh.
