Movimentazione sedimenti in Arno a Firenze, Giani a San Niccolò: Spiagge torneranno fruibili
(Agenzia Vista) Una nuova estate di lavori per la risagomatura e movimentazione dei depositi fluviali nel tratto urbano del Fiume Arno a Firenze, ma solo a partire da luglio per il rispetto degli habitat naturali.Questa mattina il sopralluogo del Presidente Giani con il Presidente del Consorzio di Bonifica 3 Medio Valdarno Paolo Masetti, il consigliere delegato alla Protezione civile della Città Metropolitana Massimo Fratini insieme al personale del Genio Civile della Regione, presso la spiaggia dell’Arno in San Niccolò. Il piano di gestione dei sedimenti affidato dal Genio Civile al Consorzio prevede 3 anni di interventi di movimentazione dei sedimenti alluvionali dalle barre di deposito nei tratti in cui si sono maggiormente accumulati con le piene degli ultimi decenni per riallocarli nelle zone in erosione come quella a valle del Ponte all'Indiano. "L’intervento punta a movimentare 30 mila metri cubi di terra. Un lavoro importante per la sicurezza nei periodi di piena", ha detto Giani.
