En este estremecedor extracto de Hola! Ota-Ola, Alex Otaola muestra imágenes recibidas de colaboradores dentro de Cuba donde una mujer permanece muerta desde la medianoche hasta pasadas las tres de la tarde en un portal, sin que ninguna autoridad retire el cadáver.Otaola subraya que la familia desesperada tuvo que cerrar la calle para llamar la atención y provocar la intervención de las autoridades, pero aun así los vecinos no se sumaron al reclamo. “Este es el destino que espera a los que siguen callados”, sentencia.
El activista cubanoamericano insiste en que la única forma de ser escuchado es gritar en la calle “¡Basta ya!” y exigir cambio de sistema. Según Otaola, cada cubano debe decidir si sigue resignado o si se levanta para evitar morir en el abandono y la miseria como esta mujer.
