Mereka melaksanakan lempar jumrah sebagai bagian dari nafar awal, sebelum kembali ke Makkah untuk menunaikan tawaf ifadah, rukun haji yang menjadi penanda hampir berakhirnya prosesi ibadah haji.
Untuk sampai di lokasi lempar jumrah di Jamarat, jemaah haji berjalan kaki dari tenda melewati Terowongan Mina.
Dengan semangat, para jemaah secara tertib melemparkan masing-masing tujuh kerikil ke tiga titik jumrah, yakni ula, wustha, dan aqabah.
Prosesi lempar jumrah pada dini hari ini dilakukan lebih awal untuk menghindari kepadatan dan cuaca panas di siang hari.
Suasana di lokasi dipenuhi dengan bacaan takbir yang menggema dari para jemaah, yang menyuarakan kemenangan spiritual atas hawa nafsu dan godaan setan, sebagaimana yang pernah dilakukan oleh Nabi Ibrahim AS ribuan tahun silam.
Setelah menyelesaikan lempar jumrah, para jemaah langsung bersiap meninggalkan Mina.
Tawaf ifadah dilakukan dengan mengelilingi Kakbah sebanyak tujuh kali, sebagai bentuk kedekatan dan ketundukan total kepada Allah.
