Aksi pembalasan itu dilakukan Iran dengen mengirim serangan beruntun pada Jumat (13/6/2025) malam atau Sabtu (14/6/2025) dini hari waktu Indonesia.
Iran terpantau melancarkan dua hingga tiga serangan balasan dengan menyasar ratusan rudal balistik dan lebih dari 100 drone ke sejumlah kota besar Zionis.
Sebagian serangan berhasil dicegat oleh sistem pertahanan udara Israel, Iron Dome, dibantu Amerika Serikat.
Namun beberapa serangan tersebut juga berhasil menembus jantung kota Israel.
Informasi terakhir, diketahui ada 60 warga Israel yang menerima luka-luka akibat serangan dari Negeri Persia tersebut.
Merespons kekacauan yang dibuat Iran, IDF meminta masyarakatnya untuk tidak mempublikasikan kondisi terkini Israel di media sosial.
Militer Israel mengaku khawatir jika Iran akan meningkatkan serangannya melihat kondisi Israel yang rusak akibat serangan tersebut.
Diketahui sebelumnya, serangan ke kota-kota besar ini dilakukan Iran buntut dari pelaksanaan "Operation Rising Lion" yang dilakukan Israel.
Dimana pada Jumat (13/6/2025) kemarin, Israel menyerang ibu kota Teheran dengan tujuan menghancurkan fasilitas nuklir Negeri Persia tersebut.
Serangan Israel ini dilaporkan membuat panglima tertinggi IRGC Iran, Mayor Jenderal Hossein Salami meninggal dunia.
Selain itu, beberapa ilmuwan nuklir Iran juga diketahui ikut terbunuh dalam serangan Israel kemarin.
