Nel pomeriggio del 20 marzo, i Carabinieri di Calcinato e Desenzano hanno portato a termine un’importante operazione di contrasto ai furti di rame,arrestando sei persone in flagranza di reato e recuperando centinaia dichili di rame asportato. Già da alcuni giorni, i militari stavano conducendo servizi di osservazione nei cantieri Tav della provincia,teatro nei mesi passati di ingenti furti di rame. In manette sono finite sei persone, di cui quattro operai di una ditta specializzata in lavori ferroviari, che sta lavorando in subappalto nel cantiere Tav e che avrebbero sfruttato la possibilità di accedere nelle aree in cui si stano svolgendo i lavori, per sottrarre le bobine di rame.
