But not every child has the same access to books. In Vanuatu, nearly 79% of Year 4 children aren’t meeting basic literacy standards. That’s why Save the Children’s social enterprise, Library For All, is working to change that — bringing meaningful, engaging books to all 56,000 primary school children across the country.
Because when children have access to books, they don’t just learn to read — they discover who they are and who they can become.
