ROMA (ITALPRESS) - Webuild si conferma tra i maggiori acquirenti di acciaio in Italia, sostenendo direttamente la produzione e l’occupazione del settore. Nel solo triennio 2023–2025, il Gruppo ha superato gli 800 milioni di euro di acquisti di acciaio in Italia. Il dato è stato reso noto nel corso dell’Assemblea Pubblica di Federacciai, svoltasi a Bergamo, alla quale ha partecipato l’amministratore delegato del gruppo, Pietro Salini. Salini ha ricordato come l’industria siderurgica e quella delle grandi infrastrutture siano asset chiave per la competitività del Paese. Per questo motivo, ha evidenziato il manager, le infrastrutture sono motore di crescita del PIL e dell’occupazione in tutti i settori collegati, ma per sprigionare questo potenziale ”serve un’industria italiana solida e competitiva a livello globale”, ha affermato. Ma c’è anche bisogno, secondo Salini, di ”regole più semplici, obiettivi realistici e di una visione industriale che sostenga il sistema produttivo di fronte alla sovracapacità estera, in particolare quella cinese”. Secondo Salini serve inoltre che le grandi aziende italiane insieme alle loro filiere collaborino in modo sinergico per fare davvero sistema. Le infrastrutture sono oggi strumenti essenziali di politica economica e di geopolitica industriale. Non possiamo prescindere dall’industria siderurgica come settore strategico.
