Yesterday the United States kicked off Operation Economic Outcast which administration officials have called the economic D-Day for Iran. The response was ‘meh’ with some in Iran saying this is just another empty threat by President Trump. In fact when asked why these sanctions weren’t going into place right now, Secretary Bessent said “Why would I want to blow up the global financial system.” Which may be an indication of how far we’re willing, or not willing to take this.
