MEDIATOR PAKISTAN CAN'T SAVE OWN TANKER! A Qatari LNG tanker carrying gas for Pakistan, Al Mayeda, was hit near the Strait of Hormuz on 30 October, just hours after Iran had reportedly cleared its passage through Pakistan's own diplomatic channel. The ship turned back, the gas never reached Pakistan, and the country that calls itself the US–Iran mediator now faces a winter gas crisis at home.
