HOLLAND: Waldbrand an Grenze zu Deutschland außer Kontrolle! Wind erschwert Löscharbeiten!Oostrum/Kleve – Der große Waldbrand in einem Naturschutzgebiet nahe der deutsch-niederländischen Grenze ist weiter nicht unter Kontrolle. Nach Angaben der Behörden sind inzwischen rund 100 Hektar Wald- und Heidefläche betroffen. Hunderte Einsatzkräfte kämpfen seit Tagen gegen die Flammen.
Die Folgen sind mittlerweile auch in Deutschland zu spüren: Im Kreis Kleve (NRW) klagen Anwohner über Brandgeruch. Je nach Windrichtung sei die Belastung unterschiedlich stark, teilte die Feuerwehr mit. Eine Gefahr für die Bevölkerung bestehe derzeit aber nicht. Vorsorglich wurden die Menschen über die Warn-App Nina gebeten, Fenster und Türen geschlossen zu halten.
