Pria tersebut tampak mengenakan kaos salah satu partai politik.
Adapun sejumlah fasilitas yang dirusak antara lain kaca jendela hingga mobil dinas yang terparkir di dalam kawasan Balai Kota Solo.
Awalnya pelakku melempari sejumlah jendela yang ada di lokasi menggunakan batu batako.
Kemudian ia menggunakan galah dengan ujung pisau melengkung yang ada di lokasi untuk merusak mobil dinas yang terparkir di sana.
Dari rekaman CCTV, pria tersebut masuk ke kawasan Balai Kota Solo sekitar pukul 05.53 WIB menggunakan sepeda kayuh.
Awalnya aksi perusakan tersebut tidak diketahui oleh petugas keamanan.
Hingga akhirnya pada pukul 10.00 WIB, ia tertangkap oleh petugas saat tengah merusak sebuah mobil dinas yang terparkir.
Komandan Regu Tim Sparta, Aipda Wagimin menjelaskan bahwa pelaku sempat bersembunyi setelah beraksi.
"Kami dapat laporan dari WakabagOps bahwa intinya di Balai Kota ada perusakan. Ternyata sampai sana, orang tersebut masih bersembunyi tapi sudah melakukan perusakan mungkin dari pintu samping depan," ungkap Wagimin.
"Kemudian mengarah, kita cari ketemu di kantor sekretariat di Balai Kota," lanjut dia.
Pelaku juga memecahkan kaca ruangan di salah satu kantor di kawasan Balau Kota, selain merusak dua mobil dinas.
