Infatti, entro il 2060 la popolazione italiana in età lavorativa (cioè tra i 20 e i 64 anni) diminuirà del 34%, un ritmo quattro volte superiore rispetto alla media dell’Ocse. Si tratta di circa 12 milioni di lavoratori attivi in meno. Ripeto: 12 milioni di lavoratori in meno. Se la crescita attuale della produttività del lavoro rimarrà ai livelli del periodo compreso tra il 2006 e il 2019, il rapporto tra occupati e popolazione scenderà di oltre 5 punti percentuali e il PIL pro capite potrebbe diminuire del 22% entro il 2060.
