Rencana pemerintah memajaki aktivitas jual-beli di lokapasar (marketplace) menuai pro dan kontra. Bagi pelaku usaha e-commerce, pemajakan ini bakal menambah beban ekonomi yang mesti mereka tanggung.Pemerintah, diwakili Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) Kementerian Keuangan, membantah akan menambah pajak baru kepada mereka yang berdagang di lapak daring.
Secara garis besar, kebijakan ini difungsikan guna mengatur pergeseran (shifting). Artinya, kata pemerintah, lokapasar atau marketplace ditunjuk untuk memungut pajak penghasilan (PPh) 22 pedagang di e-commerce.
"Kebijakan ini tidak mengubah prinsip dasar pajak penghasilan. Namun, justru memberikan kemudahan bagi pedagang dalam memenuhi kewajiban perpajakan," ujar Direktur Penyuluhan, Pelayanan, dan Hubungan Masyarakat DJP Kemenkeu, Rosmauli, Kamis (26/6) lalu.
Meski demikian, biaya yang dikenakan lokapasar terhadap para penjual justru menjadi sorotan utama dalam setiap keluahan pedagang daring itu.
Di sisi lain, lokapasar membutuhkannya untuk terus hidup.
