Pada Rabu (8/10/2025) malam waktu setempat, Presiden AS Donald Trump mengumumkan bahwa Israel dan Hamas telah menyepakati fase pertama dari kerangka kerja perdamaian.
Kesepakatan ini dipandang sebagai titik awal berakhirnya konflik berdarah.
Rencana perdamaian 20 poin tersebut mencakup gencatan senjata menyeluruh, pembebasan seluruh tawanan Israel dengan imbalan tahanan Palestina, serta penarikan pasukan Israel.
Ribuan warga Gaza, dari Khan Younis hingga wilayah lain, langsung turun ke jalan merayakan pengumuman tersebut.
Mereka mengibarkan bendera, menyanyi, dan berdoa.
Koresponden Al Jazeera, Hani Mahmoud, menggambarkan suasana malam itu sebagai momen bersejarah dan melegakan, di mana "langit Gaza terasa lebih tenang" untuk pertama kalinya dalam waktu yang lama.
