Nesta acirrada guerra de picapes no nosso mercado, a chinesa BYD, que é líder na venda de eletrificados, não foi muito bem com a sua picape Shark. E ela nunca errou tanto num modelo e na Shark ela já começou errando ao apresentá-la no autódromo de Goiânia. Pista de asfalto é lugar para se apresentar um 4x4, mas agora não adianta chorar sobre o asfalto derramado e bola para frente. A Shark não deu certo, mas a BYD já está desenvolvendo uma nova picape um pouco menor, exatamente para brigar com a bem sucedida Fiat Toro. Ela vai usar a nova plataforma do Song Plus com motorização híbrida, carroceria do tipo monobloco e será produzida na fábrica da BYD em Camaçari.
