TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Ahmad Muzani resmi lengser dari jabatannya sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Gerindra pada Jumat (1/8).

Melalui unggahan di akun Instagramnya, Ahmad Muzani mengumumkan bahwa pengganti dirinya adalah Sugiono.

Dalam keterangannya, Muzani menuliskan bahwa dalam pertemuan di Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, Hambalang, Bogor, Jumat hari ini, Ketua Umum Gerindra Prabowo Subianto menandatangani surat keputusan.

Keputusan ini pun membuat Muzani mengakhiri tugasnya sebagai Sekjen Gerindra yang diembannya selama 17 tahun.

Muzani pun menyampaikan terima kasih pada Prabowo Subianto selaku Ketua Umum Gerindra sekaligus Ketua Dewan Pembina serta seluruh kader Partai Gerindra.

Seusai lengser dari jabatannya, Muzani kini menempati posisi sebagai Sekretaris Dewan Pembina sekaligus Ketua Dewan Kehormatan.

Sebelumnya, kabar soal pergantian posisi Sekjen Gerindra santer terdengar.

Ketua Harian Partai Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad dalam keterangan pada Kamis (31/7), saat dikonfirmasi memilih untuk menahan diri untuk menjawab karena menyerahkannya pada Muzani.

Dasco sendiri kala itu enggan mengonfirmasi apakah pergantian sekjen benar adanya atau tidak.

Untuk diketahui, Dasco menjabat Sekjen Gerindra sejak 2008 silam.
