En la Universidad de Toronto, estudiantes y profesores realizaron el lunes una vigilia en honor a los estudiantes gazatíes que no han podido graduarse debido a la guerra que Israel está librando en la Franja de Gaza. Durante la ceremonia, birretes de graduación fueron colocados sobre sillas vacías en homenaje a los estudiantes palestinos que han fallecido o cuyas vidas han cambiado drásticamente.
