Augenzeugen filmen, wie das Tier Autos beschädigt und Straßenschilder umstößt. Erst nach rund zwei Stunden kann ein Spezialteam den Bullen mit einem Beruhigungsmittel stoppen. Experten verweisen auf die sogenannte Musth, eine Phase mit stark erhöhtem Testosteron, in der Elefanten besonders aggressiv reagieren. Der Vorfall entfacht erneut Kritik an Haltung und Zucht.
