JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Timnas Indonesia menang 1-0 dari China pada Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 di GBK pada Kamis (5/06/2025).Calon lawan Timnas di putaran empat Kualifikasi Piala Dunia zona Asia adalah tim-tim peringkat tiga dan empat di putaran tiga. Di antaranya adalah Uni Emirat Arab, Qatar dan Irak.
Sementara Oman dan Palestina masih akan menjalani satu pertandingan sisa untuk menentukan siapa yang lolos.
Nantinya, di putaran empat akan terdiri dari dua grup yang masing-masing diisi tiga tim.
Meski menang atas Tiongkok, posisi Timnas di Grup C Kualifikasi Piala Dunia zona Asia tak beranjak dari posisi empat dengan 12 poin.
Di atas Timnas, ada Arab Saudi dengan poin 13. Skuad Garuda sudah dipastikan lolos ke putaran empat Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 zona Asia.
Sebab dengan sisa satu pertandingan, Tiongkok dan Bahrain tidak mungkin lagi mengejar poin Timnas.
Sementara, Jepang sudah dipastikan otomatis lolos ke Piala Dunia sebagai peringkat pertama.
