Studenti, lavoratori e cittadini in piazza contro il carovita e i bassi salari. Durante il corteo di sabato 17 ottobre a Torino, i manifestanti hanno portato in strada le proprie preoccupazioni per stipendi che non bastano, spese quotidiane sempre più alte e affitti diventati difficili da sostenere. Nel video, girato e pubblicato dal Sindacato Si Cobas di Torino, insieme al Coordinamento contro i bassi salari, le testimonianze raccolte in piazza Castello raccontano le ragioni della protesta e le difficoltà di chi chiede condizioni di vita più dignitose. «Siamo in piazza come studenti e a supporto di tutti i lavoratori», spiega un ragazzo, che richiama anche la situazione degli insegnanti: «Dato che vengono pagati poco, insegnano svogliati». Al centro della mobilitazione c’è soprattutto la questione salariale che, secondo un uomo intervistato, rappresenta un problema «da almeno vent’anni», insieme alla mancanza di controlli sui costi. A pesare è soprattutto il costo della casa. «Il carovita, gli affitti che sono aumentati enormemente a Torino da un anno a un altro», racconta una ragazza. Una difficoltà che si riflette sulle prospettive delle nuove generazioni, come sottolinea un’altra manifestante: «Noi trentenni vorremmo dare un futuro ai ragazzi più piccoli.
