Serangan ini dilaksanakan dengan 70 jet tempur untuk membakar Teheran.
"Puluhan pesawat terbang beroperasi dengan bebas di atas Teheran berkat serangan pembuka kami," katanya kepada wartawan, dilansir Al Jazeera.
Jet tempur dan drone terbang di Teheran selama sekitar dua setengah jam selama serangan tersebut.
Israel juga mengklaim bahwa Teheran melemah akibat adanya serangan pembuka itu.
Sebelumnya Israel mengancam akan membakar Teheran jika Iran terus menargetkan warga sipilnya.
Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Israel Katz mengatakan Teheran akan membayar harga yang mahal karena kerugian kriminal terhadap warga Israel.
"Jika [pemimpin tertinggi Iran Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei terus menembakkan rudal ke wilayah Israel - Teheran akan terbakar." kata Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Katz.
Ancaman ini muncul setelah Iran membalas serangan Israel yang menghantam fasilitas nuklir Iran dan menewaskan komandan tinggi serta puluhan warga sipil.
Iran membalas dengan gelombang serangan pesawat nirawak dan rudal, dengan rentetan puluhan serangan di langit Tel Aviv.
