Penentuan ini menyusul maraknya kasus keracunan yang menimpa para pelajar seusai menyantap menu MBG.
Informasi terbaru, lebih dari 1.000 siswa menjadi korban keracunan MBG di Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB), dengan kasus pertama terjadi pada Senin (22/9).
Dimana pada Senin kemarin, sebanyak 475 siswa di Kecamatan Cipongkor menjadi korban keracunan usai menyantap MBG.
Kemudian pada Rabu (24/9) kemarin, peristiwa serupa juga terjadi di Cipongkor dan Cihampelas.
Berdasarkan data awal, ada 500 korban di Cipongkor dan 60 korban di Cihampelas yang jika ditotal jumlah korban seluruhnya adalah 1.035.
Dedy menyebut akan melakukan komunikasi dengan kepala BGN perwakilan wilayah Jawa Barat.
Nantinya Dedy akan meminta evaluasi terkait dan audit terkait kebersihan di dapur MBG.
Kemudian akan dilakukan evaluasi dari jenis-jenis bahan makanan yang digunakan dalam produksi MBG.
Ia juga menyampaikan harapan kedepannya agar dapur MBG nantinya bisa lebih dekat dengan sekolah, karena hal tersebut bisa menjadi salah satu faktor sekaligus resiko dari keberlangsungan program ini.
