(LaPresse) Quella di giovedì sul fronte Fs è stata «una giornata di lavoro importante, ho incontrato l'Ad Donnarumma, abbiamo trovato una comune condivisione nel fatto che ultimata la fase Pnrr, la più importante, delicata e complicata, con tutti i cantieri che si andranno a chiudere questa estate, si passerà alla fase due con un passaggio di consegne». Lo ha detto il ministro dei Trasporti, Matteo Salvini in merito alle prossime dimissioni dell'ad di Fs, Stefano Donnarumma, a margine di un evento dedicato agli ottant'anni della Vespa. Il successore di Donnarumma alla guida di Fs sarà «una scelta interna che riguarda un ferroviere, per gestire i 90mila straordinari dipendenti di un'azienda eccellente. È un avvicendamento condiviso. Di comune accordo abbiamo fatto questa scelta, io ringrazio chi ha lavorato in questi anni perché se oggi ci sono 1.300 cantieri aperti, 270 km di alta velovità in lavorazione, e il servizio più efficiente d'Europa è grazie a chi ci ha lavorato e quindi anche all'Ad», spiega il vicepremier che agginge: «Si apre un'altra stagione e alla fine del mandato lascerà una rete ferroviaria più moderna, puntuale, sicura, già oggi è la più avanzata d'Europa. Nonostante il caldo torrido altri Paesi hanno i treni fermi, noi invece abbiamo qualche disservizio sì ma ogni giorno viaggiano 10mila treni e quasi mezzo milione di passeggeri».
