Hidangan sup kuetiau yang simple tapi penuh rasa, sangat popular di sebelah Pulau Pinang.Bayangkan sup jernih panas, diperkaya rasa manis semula jadi daripada sengkuang, diadun bersama rasa umami daripada ikan bilis sangai, ayam, dan fishcake. Dinikmati pula dengan kuetiau lembut, sayur pak choy rangup, serta gabungan dua sambal istimewa—sambal merah dan sambal kicap pedas berapi. Ditambah lagi bawang putih goreng rangup yang memang menaikkan selera.
Che Nom juga berkongsi pelbagai tips menarik, antaranya cara menghasilkan bawang putih goreng yang sempurna, penyediaan minyak bawang putih aromatik, serta dua jenis sambal yang sedap dan mudah dibuat di rumah.

Bahan untuk bawang putih goreng:
20 ulas bawang putih
1 cwn minyak masak
Bahan untuk sambal kicap:
1/2 cwn bawang goreng
10 tangkai cili padi
Kicap manis
Bahan untuk sambal merah:
10 tangkai cili kering
3 ulas bawang putih
4 biji bawang merah
Garam
Gula secukup rasa
1 senduk sos cili
Bahan bawang goreng homemade (optional):
Bawang merah
Sedikit garam
Sedikit tepung beras

Sayur sawi

1/2 cup fried shallots
10 bird’s eye chilies

Ingredients for red sambal:
10 dried chilies

Sugar to taste
1 ladle chili sauce
