En los últimos meses, titulares impactantes han inundado los medios: se habla de un “genocidio cristiano” en África y de una persecución sistemática por motivos religiosos. Pero este documental no se queda en esas narrativas.Alfonso Masoliver, periodista especializado en conflictos africanos y yo viajamos hasta Nigeria, señalado como epicentro del conflicto, y nos adentramos en regiones del Cinturón Central, una de las zonas más peligrosas del país, marcada por masacres, secuestros y violencia constante.
Aquí no se imponen discursos: hablan los nigerianos. A través de testimonios directos, el documental muestra una realidad compleja. Hay miles de muertes, ¿pero es la religión el motivo principal de estos asesinatos? Conflictos por la tierra, recursos escasos y tensiones históricas entran en escena.
Más que dar respuestas simples, el documental cuestiona la narrativa dominante y plantea una pregunta clave: ¿estamos entendiendo realmente lo que ocurre?
