A missão Artemis II da NASA está programada para decolar do Centro Espacial Kennedy em 1º de abril. A janela de lançamento de duas horas começa às 18h24 EDT (22h24 UTC).
Quatro astronautas — três da NASA e um da Agência Espacial Canadense (CSA) — compõem a tripulação da Artemis II:
- Astronauta da NASA Reid Wiseman, comandante da Artemis II
- Astronauta da NASA Victor Glover, piloto da Artemis II
- Astronauta da NASA Christina Koch, especialista da missão Artemis II
- Astronauta da Agência Espacial Canadense (CSA) Jeremy Hansen, especialista da missão Artemis II
Após o lançamento ao espaço a bordo do foguete Space Launch System (SLS) da NASA, a tripulação viajará ao redor da Lua e retornará em sua espaçonave Orion, chamada Integrity, em uma missão de aproximadamente 10 dias. O voo experimental Artemis II será o primeiro teste tripulado do SLS e da Orion, testando as tecnologias necessárias para a exploração lunar de longo prazo e para missões humanas a Marte.

NASA's Artemis II mission is scheduled to lift off from Kennedy Space Center on April 1. The two-hour launch window starts at 6:24 p.m. EDT (2224 UTC).
Four astronauts — three from NASA and one from the CSA (Canadian Space Agency) — make up the Artemis II crew:
- NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, Artemis II commander
- NASA astronaut Victor Glover, Artemis II pilot
- NASA astronaut Christina Koch, Artemis II mission specialist
- Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen, Artemis II mission specialist
After launching into space atop NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, the crew will journey around the Moon and back in their Orion spacecraft, named Integrity, on an approximately 10-day mission. Artemis II will be the first crewed flight test of SLS and Orion, testing the technologies we'll need for long-term lunar exploration and human missions to Mars.
