Космический телескоп Джеймса Уэбба обнаружил необычный объект ранней Вселенной — QSO1, сверхмассивную чёрную дыру массой около 40–50 миллионов Солнц, существовавшую всего через 700 миллионов лет после Большого взрыва.Учёные впервые напрямую измерили её массу с помощью прибора NIRSpec, изучив движение газа вокруг центра системы. Результат оказался неожиданным: чёрная дыра выглядит слишком развитой для своего возраста и, возможно, сформировалась раньше полноценной галактики-хозяина.
QSO1 относится к загадочному классу ярких компактных объектов, известных как «маленькие красные точки». Их необычные характеристики могут указывать на то, что сверхмассивные чёрные дыры в ранней Вселенной росли гораздо быстрее, чем предполагают современные модели.
Это открытие ставит под вопрос привычную последовательность: сначала галактика — потом чёрная дыра. Возможно, всё происходило наоборот.
