La tragedia de un bebé en Cuba: tres días bastaron para mostrar el colapso del sistema de salud

Una tragedia que rompe el alma y deja al descubierto la miseria del sistema de salud cubano.
En este segmento, Alex Otaola comparte el testimonio de una abuela desesperada: su nieta, una bebé recién nacida, murió a los tres días de vida en el hospital Hijas de Galicia, en La Habana.

La denuncia, publicada por la periodista independiente Camila Acosta y el reportero José Luis Tan Estrada, revela que el hospital cobraba 5000 pesos cubanos por una cama para las mujeres recién paridas, y que la niña falleció por falta de vitamina K, un medicamento esencial para la coagulación de la sangre.

El testimonio refleja la indolencia y corrupción que marcan al sistema sanitario de Cuba, donde la vida de los más inocentes se apaga por negligencia estatal.
Otaola cuestiona la pasividad del pueblo cubano ante este tipo de tragedias:
“Tuvo la desgracia de nacer en dictadura, de formar parte de un pueblo que prefiere callar antes que exigir justicia”.
