O objetivo do acordo é atender, principalmente, áreas de difícil acesso, onde muitas pessoas ainda não possuem conectividade confiável à internet.Além do Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguai, Peru, Equador e Colômbia também farão parte do projeto. O plano é aproveitar a infraestrutura de rede do Kuiper para oferecer planos de internet a clientes residenciais, com foco em valores acessíveis e em locais com deficiência de conectividade.
