Bolivia: Morales Backers Clash With Police, Block Roads; 2 Officers Dead | Firstpost America | N18GBolivia continues to remain on the edge as supporters of former President Evo Morales block highways and clash with police in several cities. In the latest, at least two policemen were killed in clashes in Llallagua in Bolivia's southwest. The government says the policemen were murdered by gunshots. Supporters of former President Morales demand the electoral body qualify him as a candidate for the next presidential elections in August, for which is already constitutionally disqualified. President Luis Arce's government has put Morales under investigation for terrorism, inciting protests and trying to sabotage the election. President Arce has also ordered the clearing of the highways.
