L’elezione del governatore è diretta: vince il candidato che prende più voti, in un turno unico. Alle liste collegate al vincitore è assegnato poi un premio di maggioranza. Sulla scheda l’elettore può: - votare tracciando un segno sul nome del candidato governatore - indicare solo la lista: il voto va comunque anche al candidato governatore associato - tracciare un segno sia sul nome del candidato presidente sia su una lista per il consiglio regionale collegata Ammesso anche il voto disgiunto: è possibile, cioè, scegliere una lista e un candidato governatore non collegati. Si possono poi esprimere fino a due preferenze per il consiglio regionale.
