במרכז הסדרה מספר פרשיות ידועות, ביניהן רצח מיכל סלה והפגיעות המיניות שביצע הפסיכולוג יובל כרמי, והתמודדות התובעים עם דילמות מקצועיות ודרמות אנושיות שנשארות מחוץ לסיקור התקשורתי הקר.
זו היא הצצה נדירה אל מאחורי הקלעים של ההליך המשפטי בישראל.
