Denkmal erneuert: Atlas-Statue nach Jahrzehnten umfassend restauriert!Nach 300 Jahren erhält die berühmte Atlas-Statue auf dem Dach des Königlichen Palastes in Amsterdam eine aufwendige Restaurierung. Die historische Figur wurde nach Antwerpen gebracht, um Schäden durch Feuchtigkeit, Schutt und bröckelnden Mörtel zu beheben. Restauratoren entfernten schädliche Ablagerungen und stabilisierten die Statue mit moderner Edelstahltechnik. Jetzt ist das Wahrzeichen zurück und bereit, wieder über die Stadt zu wachen.
