La vicenda riguarda un consigliere del Presidente della Repubblica Sergio #Mattarella, Francesco Saverio Garofani, ex parlamentare PD. Secondo quanto riferito dal giornale, il consigliere per le questioni istituzionali avrebbe pronunciato la seguente frase in un luogo pubblico: "Un anno e mezzo di tempo forse non basta per trovare qualcuno che batta il centrodestra: ci vorrebbe un provvidenziale scossone" per interrompere il #Governo Meloni. Il piano, spiega Belpietro, sarebbe quello di impedire al centrodestra di vincere anche nel 2027, così da evitare una maggioranza di destra nel 2029, quando ci saranno le elezioni del Presidente della Repubblica. Tutto tace per un paio di ore. Poi è Galeazzo Bignami, capogruppo di Fratelli d'Italia alla Camera, a chiedere spiegazioni sull'indiscrezione de La Verità.
