Nadiem jadi tersangka terkait kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan laptop Chromebook di kementerian yang dipimpinnya dulu.
Beginilah detik-detik saat Nadiem keluar dari Gedung Kejagung dengan mengenakan rompi merah muda.
Nadiem tampak diborgol dan dikawal oleh petugas Kejagung.
Saat dikerumuni wartawan, Nadiem menyatakan bahwa Tuhan akan mengetahui kebenarannya dan akan melindunginya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa seumur hidupnya, integritas dan kejujuran adalah nomor satu.
Adapun Nadiem langsung ditahan di Rutan Salemba cabang Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan selama 20 hari ke depan.
Sebelumnya, dalam jumpa pers di Gedung Kejagung, Jakarta, Dirdik Jampidsus Kejagung, Nurcahyo Jungkung Madyo mengatakan penetapan tersangka terhadap Nadiem berdasarkan alat bukti yang cukup.
Nadiem disebut melakukan pengadaan Chromebook yang sebelumnya ditolak oleh Muhadji Effendy yang kala itu menjabat sebagai Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud).
Alasannya, Chromebook Google gagal uji coba di sekolah garis luar pada 2019.
Perintah penggunaan Chromebook ini dilakukan Nadiem dalam rapat tertutup via Zoom bersama empat tersangka lainnya.
Kerugian negara yang ditimbulkan imbas kasus ini diperkirakan mencapai Rp 1,980 triliun, namun jumlah pastinya masih dihitung oleh Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP).
