Massa yang tergabung dalam aliansi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Seluruh Indonesia (BEM SI) membawa poster dengan tulisan #SelamatkanIndonesia.
Pantauan Tribunnews pada pukul 16.00 WIB, mahasiswa juga mengirim karangan bunga di depan gedung DPR.
Karangan bunga itu bertuliskan 'Turut Berduka Cita Atas Meninggalnya Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat'.
Ada juga selebaran berwarna hitam bertuliskan #WargaJagaWarga serta spanduk "Basmi Hama Negara".
Salah seorang orator menyatakan, aksi damai ini dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan Indonesia dari ketidakbecusan DPR sebagai wakil rakyat.
Selain itu, aksi juga berfokus menyuarakan kembali "17+8 Tuntutan Rakyat" yang sudah disampaikan pada pertemuan mahasiswa dengan pimpinan DPR kemarin, Rabu (3/9/2025).
Tuntutan ini merupakan bentuk rangkuman dari kritik masyarakat yang ramai disuarakan di media sosial dan di lapangan.
Beberapa selebgram hingga influencer sudah menyuarakan tuntutan tersebut seperti Abigail Muria, Jerome Polin, hingga Salsa Erwina.
