Hal ini disampaikan oleh Wapres Ma'ruf seusai peresmian Tol Cimanggis-Cibitung, Sumedang, Jabar, Selasa (9/7/2024).
Ma'ruf mengaku sudah menyimak pernyataan dari Kapolri Listyo Sigit Prabowo yang menyatakan pengungkapan kasus Vina akan berlanjut.
Meski begitu, Ma'ruf tak mengetahui persis proses selanjutnya oleh kepolisian.
Lebih lanjut ia meminta agar kasus Vina Cirebon dituntaskan, termasuk mencari sosok Pegi yang sebenarnya.
Ma'ruf pun mengingatkan kepolisian untuk tak lagi mengulangi kesalahan yakni salah tangkap seperti kasus Pegi Setiawan.
Ia meminta agar bukti-bukti harus kuat sehingga tak dipatahkan lewat praperadilan.
