Gefahr ist ihr Hobby: Deutsche Stormchaser jagen Tornados in den USA. Stormchaser aus Deutschland reisen zwei Wochen quer durch die USA, um Tornados hautnah zu erleben. Reporter Johannes Musial begleitet die Tornado-Jäger bei ihrer spektakulären Jagd. Ihr Ziel: mächtige Tornados filmen und die Gewalt der Natur dokumentieren. Auf über 12.000 Kilometern durch 14 Bundesstaaten lauern kurze Nächte, lange Stunden im Auto – und die ständige Frage: Liegen unter den Trümmern eines Tornados noch Menschen?
