Ia merupakan korban pertama yang teridentifikasi dari delapan korban tewas akibat ambruknya Gedung Ponpes Al-Khoziny, Sidoarjo.
Paman korban Rohmadun (55) mengakui, keponakannya itu memiliki kepribadian yang baik hati, mudah bergaul, dan memiliki banyak teman.
Tak ayal, datangnya kabar bahwa tubuh Adam panggilannya itu, hilang tertimbun reruntuhan ambruknya Gedung Ponpes Al-Khoziny Sidoarjo, membuat keluarga besar dan teman-teman sepermainan di rumah, menangis.
Orangtua Adam sempat menunggu proses pencarian para para korban di posko Basarnas sejak hari kejadian.
Hingga berkeliling beberapa rumah sakit untuk memastikan keberadaan sang anak.
Ternyata, upaya tersebut tak membuahkan hasil.
Bahkan sampai proses pencarian korban dinyatakan berhenti.
Dan area lokasi ambruknya bangunan sudah bersih dari puing-puing beton yang tak berbentuk.
Hingga akhirnya muncul sebuah kabar bahwa Posko DVI dipusatkan di RS Bhayangkara Surabaya.
Akhirnya, Rohmadun membantu keluarga korban untuk memantau perkembangan proses identifikasi terhadap semua jenazah korban.
Namun, Rohmadun mengakui meninggalnya sang keponakan dalam keadaan husnul khotimah karena sedang menuntut ilmu di ponpes dan saat sedang menunaikan ibadah Salat Asar.
